Royal jelly, the food for a queen
The bees make royal jelly in a gland on their head and it’s used as food for the bee queen. Royal jelly contains 2,84% of substances that have not yet been totally analyzed by man and these substances have made royal jelly known for its benefits to cell regeneration, longevity and hormonal imbalances. They also help weight loss by increasing the body’s metabolism with 24%. Use the benefits of royal jelly to:
- Enhance your physical and psychological performance
- Loose weight and increase metabolism
- Strengthen immune system
- Take care of your skin both from the inside and the outside
Royal jelly is best consumed fresh but as it is very heat and light sensitive fresh royal jelly can be hard to find and can be very expensive.
However its fantastic properties are well preserved if it is freeze-dried.
The freeze-dried flakes can be dissolved in water. Another way to preserve the great properties of fresh royal jelly is to mix it with honey or pollen.

Sprouts are tiny health bombs, loaded with proteins, vitamins, minerals and trace minerals. They are also one of the riches sources of enzymes. Availability of enzymes is one of the main reasons why raw food is believed to promote health and longevity.
I recommend to start with these seeds and peas because they are very easy to sprout, you can buy them in many stores often even your regular supermarket and they taste great.
| Variety | Soak | Days to sprout | Usage |
| Alfalfa seeds | 4 hours | 4-5 | Use in salads or on sandwiches. Mix with radish and water cress for a spicy flavor |
| Chick peas | 12 hours | 2-3 | Leave them on the kitchen counter and use them as a snack |
| Lentils | 12 hours | 3-5 | Use in salads or on yoghurt for breakfast |
| Radish | 4 hours | 4-5 | Use in salads for spicy flavor |
| Water cress | 4 hours | 4-5 | Use in salads for spicy flavor |

Mate is as tea-like beverage consumed mainly in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and southern Brazil. It is brewed from the dried leaves of the perennial tree Yerba Mate.
Mate has a characteristic mature flavor which is strongly herbal and grassy. Mate is a natural stimulant of the mind and body and a natural source of nutrition. Mate is very helpful if you are trying to cut down on coffee or alcohol.
Mate is said to:
- Energize The Body
- Stimulate Mental Alertness
- Aid Weight Loss
- Cleanse The Colon
- Accelerate Healing Process
- Relieve Stress
- Calm Allergies
- Fortify Immune System
- Increase Longevity
- Renew the liver
Brew Mate
Mate becomes bitter if steeped in water at boiling point and is traditionally made using boiling water combined with a little cold water. Unlike most teas, it does not become bitter and astringent when steeped for extended periods, and the leaves may be infused several times.
Use 2 teaspoons of mate to one cup of water.
Splash with cold water to help preserve nutrients. Steep in hot but not boiling water for 3-4 minutes.
Do you want to live to be 100?

Do you want to live to be 100? I guess most of us answer, yes if I’m happy and healthy. Researchers everywhere are trying to find the key to longevity.
Lower your body temperature and you will live longer. How on earth do you do that? Move to Alaska and don’t wear a coat!?
One of the latest findings is pretty interesting though. An organism will live up to 60% longer if you cut food supply with 30-40%. 60% !!!!! And we do eat faaar to much, so why not. The best thing about it is that grape seeds seems to have the same effect so I guess we all have to eat lots of grapes and grape seed extract from now on.
