This is horrible! baby bath

USA Today reports about how cancer causing were found in  82% of  tested products.

Some may say that the concentration is very low. But formaldehyde is bad enough that some countries have banned it from all personal care products.

And here they found it in baby products!

Many children’s bath products contain chemicals that may cause cancer and skin allergies, according to a report released Thursday by the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics.

Twenty-three of 28 products tested contained formaldehyde, the report says. Formaldehyde — considered a probable carcinogen by the Environmental Protection Agency, — is released as preservatives break down over time in a container.

Thank God for the certified organic alternatives that we can trust and use on our babies without having to worry about toxins and allergens.

Kids Eat French Fries as Veggies

french friesWhat on earth are we feeding our children?

A study from Ohio State  University showed these horrific results:

25% of kids’ vegetable intake is made up off .

40% of kids’ fruit intake is made up off fruit juice.

I guess I can live with considering fruit juice as fruit intake if it is freshly squeezed. But to consider french fries as a veggie…? No way.

Why even count french fries?
If french fries and juice had been excluded from the study, many children would not be consuming within the recommended range.

What can I say?

Better food to our children, they deserve it!
