If the person is capable of jogging or run, shouldn’t that person do that instead of walking?
That depends on what you’re after and what time of day it is.
If it is early in the morning and your goal is to burn fat the best is acutally to walk. If you’re goal is to get a stronger heart the best is to jog.
At the end of the day, all is great, do what you enjoy the most!
There is a very simple theory I always take into consideration when trying to get rid of fat: I must burn much more calories then I eat to be able to lose fat. This is why I’m sure that there’s no good diet without physical exercises.
Walking was probably the best advice I ever had for weight loss. Just the though of going to the gym makes me want to reach for the crisps but walking to the shops is great exercise.

Water is also another alternative for wight loss. Drinking a glass of water before and after eating will help you reduce the food intake as it fills in the need of the body. Proper diet should also go with physical work out.
I’m a little confused… wouldn’t it be better exercise to jog or run? Or use an elliptical machine? Walking is a lot easier than running, but it also burns less calories. So, why walk if you can run?
just walk fast and follow a good plan from a good nutrition.
