Great Health Tips For Bloggers and Laptop Users

ob and a laptop by ob79 on FlickrMany people who spend most of their time in front of their laptops or PCs are likely to experience back ache, head ache, hand and wrist pain, neck pain and stress. That includes me!

If you are one of us, be aware that you should do something about these health problems before they lead to anything worse or serious. Do not simply neglect them just because you got used to them already.

I-techtalk suggests the following tips to get rid of all these health problems which gets in the way while working.

1. Drink lots of water. This is the best health tip which solves many of our health problems since it flushes out most of the toxin content present in our body. It also increases the rate of metabolism in the body, thereby keeping our brain healthy and active in addition to making the body fit and strong. It also increases the system efficiency in our body and reduces the risk of heart attacks.

2. Dedicate yourself to perform exercises daily. Spend a few hours on exercises that can control your weight. Computer operators and bloggers do less work that require physical action and energy, so exercising is must! Exercises that give work to neck, back, hip and hands are recommended by doctors. Walking in between your work will help you relax and maintain proper blood supply to the brain..

3. Include nutritious food in your daily diet. Eat a lot of vegetables and fruits and foods rich in fiber and different kinds of nutrients. Make sure they are healthy and that they can give you energy and feed your brain. Consumption of food at the right time is also important. So don’t delay your meals. It is also necessary to avoid junk and processed foods.

All of these tips are really helpful. For me, I keep a special place on my desk where I always put my glass or tumbler of water. If you’re worried about having to walk to and fro the washroom, stop! Your body and your brain need a break. You have to give it for them to work efficiently.

Aside from your daily exercise, you might also want to do some stretch exercises in between your tasks. I recently installed StretchClock to my sidebar. But you can also add it as an iGoogle gadget.

Then, always start your day with a healthy breakfast. That should keep you going all throughout the day.

    Excellent tips, I will stress on doing daily stretching exercises. I will recommend using a laptop stand for people who use laptops in bed.

    No mention of fingers and RSI in the article? What about wrist supports? I have started using ‘gel’ based wrist pad and I don’t have the black spots at the wrist joint anymore.

    yes we should spend a few hours on exercises that can control our weight. Computer operators and blog do less work that require physical action and energy, and so there always remains a fear of obesity
