Thicker Eyelaches..sure Just Get These Drugs..

Would you take drugs to look better?

I’m horrified by the latest TV commercial for prescription drugs for “beauty issues”.

First of all I’m probably very old fashioned because I don’t really understand the purpose of prescription drugs at all. I always thought that prescription drugs was what doctors prescribed when we’re sick, not something that we make up the need for ourselves.
And now we are supposed to go to our doctors to ask for drugs because we would like to have thicker hair or longer eyelashes….? Come on, let’s get real here.

I’m all for make the best of what you have and improving with natural means but that is something totally different than taking prescription drugs.
Why are they on prescription anyway? Because they are dangerous and shouldn’t take them unless you really need them. Sure there are probably people who need these drugs but it’s very clear that the commercials are not after them.

These commercials are after you and me who think: “hmmm yes I’d look better with thicker eyelashes.”
It is sooo wrong and I hope that pharmaceuticals finally stepped over the line that will force legislation to review the laws of commercials in the US.
