Climate Change is 4 real
By Carolin
Welcome back!

How long before polar bears only exist in the zoo?
Greenpeace’s Arctic Sunrise is just ending a 3-month long expedition to the North Pole. The purpose was to examine how climate change is effecting the arctic environment.
The result is bad. The ice is melting faster than the calculations from the most pessimistic climate change models show. Does that concern you?
It feels like the climate change discussion disappeared. Maybe the drowned in the noise from the financial crisis or maybe it was just me moving back to the US. Here in Michigan, even with nature right around the corner, consideration of our nature and its resources feels far away.
Even if we try to avoid climate change Frida Bengtsson’s film tells a cold reality. It tells us that climate change is real and worse than we expected.
Today is Blog Action Day . 7000 bloggers around the world blog about climate change today.
This year Blog Action day has a partner: Al Gore’s group the Alliance for Climate Protection. Together they have started a global online action addressed to the one country whose actions will most influence the future of our climate: the United States.
Add your voice and call for bold action now.
This is something that concerns all of us and I hope you will take the time to watch the video.
