Welcome back!

fruitsveggies_mightymightymatze_smEveryday, we are faced with increasing exposure to toxins from what we eat and drink, medical drugs that we take, cosmetic products that we use, as well as alcohol, cigarettes and pollutants in our environment. Under normal circumstances, our body is naturally able to deal with toxins efficiently. However, given the high amount of toxicity we are susceptible to these days, there is a call for us to minimize the burden on our organs that are responsible for eliminating toxins from our body.

Very interesting list. I’ve been trying to get my kids to eat a little healthier lately. I’m trying to build up our immune systems for the winter since we seem to catch every cold and virus that comes our way. I just read somewhere that garlic is especially great for this because it has anti-viral properties.

Garlic is great. I use it as much as I can in my cooking.
I also give my kids a little bit of probiotics everyday. I’ve found a good effective product that I add to their yoghurt. Most of the time the ready made grocery store versions have too little probiotics to have an effect.

When being reminded of death and of old age, I can not avoid asking myself: Why was it that I need a near dead experience before cleaning up my act.

It was health problem complications that I was hospitalized and my family nearly losing me.

I am just 37 and I started abusing myself physically at the tender age of 15: Smoking, drinking and using illegal herbs and chemicals.

When I was at the hospital I told myself, I promise myself to God and to my beloved wife that I will never smoke a cigarette stick again and I will taste no wine if I survived that fatal hospitalization.

When I got out, I really did clean up my act and became a health advocate. That is why I’m telling people to stop caring for their heart, liver, their body, their family right now, because we don’t know tomorrow. The right time to be healthy, the right time for a good change is now.
