Mothers Day, an ancient tradition
It began in Ancient Greece, with a special day of festivities to celebrate Rhea, the mother of the gods. Fruit can make you fat and cause type 2 diabetes.
That is the result of a new Swedish study performed by MD Christer Enkvist.
One example is that of a 64-years old woman. She had been treated for type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure for years. She weighed 274 pounds. In 2007 her new doctor suggested that she would stop eating the 2 bananas she had for snack each day.
2 years later she has lost 66 pounds. She stopped her diabetes treatments and her blood pressure medication has been cut down to half. She claims she did not do any other diet or lifestyle changes.
