April 18, 2009 by Carolin · 3 Comments
Have your thoughts been negatively affected by the financial crisis?
The negative information is all around us and it’s really hard not to get affected. I think most of us do worry today.
No matter how justified your worries are you need to watch out that you don’t get into negative thought patterns that are hard to get out of.

How Does Rocket Fuel End Up in Our Milk
There is rocket fuel in ALL infant formula sold in the US.
~According to CDC .
The toxin, perchlorate, is not just found baby formula. But ALL Non Organic dairy products.
So how does it get in there?
Here is the official explanation:
- US water supplies are full of toxins, perchlorate is one of them.
- The cows are drinking the water or the toxins first get in the grass which is eaten by the cows.
- The toxins end up in the milk.
HOW COME 100% organic products showed NO rocket fuel toxins????
Don’t organic cows drink the same water?
Don’t organic cows eat the same grass?
It MUST be something that the conventional cows are being fed or injected that makes the difference.
Or what am I missing here?

Find Out How Far You Run
April 14, 2009 by Carolin · 5 Comments

Here is a really cool site where you can measure how long your running route is.
Or cycling or walking or what ever you do.
With the help of a google map you can draw your run on your city map. Then it tells you how long it is. You can also find other peoples recommended runs in your city.
I just wish they didn’t have as many annoying ads.

Do You Shower To Much?
April 13, 2009 by Carolin · Leave a Comment
In the UK eczema have risen more than 40 % in just 4 years.
According to the experts this is partly because of the modern obsession with using soap and detergents.
Today nearly one in 10 babies has eczema Wellness.com reports.
“Michelle Stevens first noticed the red, blotchy patches on her toddler’s feet after he started walking. Every time Noah walked outdoors in their grassy backyard, the blotches appeared.
Before long, the itchy patches – signs of eczema – began popping up on Noah’s legs and in the crease of his arms. Even in his sleep, Noah scratches his arms and legs, making the rashes worse.”
Poor baby!
Babies are so sensitive but adult skin can get enough too.
In 2005 there were approximately 13 million office visits to physicians for skin rash in the US.
Are we destroying our skin with our obsession with cleanliness?
Maybe we don’t have to use soap all the time. Often it works absolutely fine to take a shower without using soap.
Did you know that I only wash my kids hair with soap once every 2 months or so? I tried it on my own hair but sadly it doesn’t work. I have already destroyed its natural balance. But I can easily go 2 weeks without using shampoo and I used to wash my hair every single day.
