Moderate Alcohol Consumption Linked to Women Cancer

Even moderate amounts of alcohol have been linked to cancer.

Over 1.2 million middle-aged women participated in this massive study.  On  average  the participated during 7 years.

The researchers believe that 13% of the following cancers have alcohol to blame:

• breast
• liver
•  rectum
•  mouth
•  throat
• esophagus

Researcher Naomi Allen, DPhil, of the University of Oxford says:

“There were no minimum levels of alcohol consumption that could be considered to be without risk.”

 I guess this is no surprise considering what it does to you in large quantities.
