Exercise While You Are Shopping

American women spend on average one hour a day . Men spend 40 minutes.
On and sports men spend 25 min a day. Women spend only 13.

One hour a day and only 13 min exercising..

I started to look around and found some easy exercises that you can do without anyone really paying attention to it. This is true multitasking where you strengthen your arms, shoulders, abs, thighs and lower legs as you do your daily .

Using the cart:

1. Pull your hands apart.
How: As you hold on to the handle, pull your hands apart
How long: 6-40 sec
Why: This strengthens your shoulders and the back of your arms

2. Drive the cart with one hand.
How: Put your hand in the middle of the handle. Take turns with you left and right hand.
How long: 5 – 10 turns
Why: This strengthens your arms, shoulders and abs.

Standing in line:

3. Stand on one leg.
How: Straighten your body, bend your knee and lift one leg up backwards. balance on the other leg. Take turns with you left and right leg.
How long: 90 sec
Why: This strengthens your lower leg and ankle and improves your balance.

4. Pull your legs together.
How: Stand up straight with our legs apart. Pull your legs together as if you’re curling up the carpet between your feet.
Then do the in the opposite direction and push your feet away from each other.
How long: 6-40 sec
Why: This stregthens your inner and outer thighs.

    I remember years ago I almost had a mobile office in my ‘pilots’ briefcase – it was really heavy and I used to walk along doing bicep curls with it (as long as no-one was watching!).
