And in a couple of weeks the next holiday is coming.
Now is the time to detox.
If you’ve never tried detox before than give it just 1 single day. You won’t regret it!
We’re all really busy right now and most of us can do with some EXTRA energy.
A 1-3 day detox will:
- Give you more energy.
- Give your digestive system a well deserved break.
- Relieve stress.
- Eliminate some toxins from your body.
- Maybe remove some excess weight.
If you choose a detox diet that fits you will NOT make you feel:
Maybe you like it enough to continue a couple of days more.
By day 7 your body will have started to burn excess body fat, not releasing water but burning fat. Sounds interesting?
Choosing a Detox Diet
There are so many detox diets out there and you have to think about what fits you. If you don’t like salad and raw foods do a cleanse that contains cooked food.
If you love fruits and smoothies do a detox on just that.
Some people detox on just apples. Apples are great food so why not, just remember to peel them.
My favorite is to do a green cleanse where I eat all the fresh raw fruits and vegetables that I want.
- I don’t get hungry.
- I don’t get tired.
- I just get tons of energy!
You can eat your food as they are, you can make delicious smoothies or you can try out some exiting raw food recipes.
If you’re not already a raw foodist I really recommend that you try a couple of days of green cleanse.
Can You resist this?
Nothing compares to a fresh smoothie.
- 1 ripe mango
- juice from 1 orange
- 1/2 pear
Peel and cut in the fruits in pieces. Mix it all until smooth.
You can also cleanse on cooked food.
For example the vegetable cleanse where you eat only vegetables. You can eat them raw, steamed or as a soup. Of course fresh herbs, onions and garlic are vegetables so this has real potential for great taste.

- Have breakfast, lunch as usual.
- At 3 PM, have a snack of fresh fruits.
- After 3 PM drink only water the rest of the day.
