This pasta is fast and easy to make, inexpensive and it’s a great immune system booster – and of course delicious.
The recipe takes about 2 min longer than it takes for you to cook the pasta.
The peas are a good source of vitamin C. The onion and garlic is not just great for the taste. They have fantastic health benefits.
This dish is vegetarian with no added salt and the combination of seeds and grains make sure that you get the complete proteins you need.
Ingredients
Your favorite pasta
1 cup frozen green peas
Butter
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
A couple of cherry tomatoes
1 yellow bell pepper
½ cup of sunflower seeds
1 cup mozzarella cheese
Put the water for the pasta on the stove. Cook the pasta.
Grate onion and garlic and fry gently in butter. Add peas and some water. Allow to simmer for a couple of minutes.
Shred or chop the mozzarella.
Chop bell pepper and tomatoes.
When the pasta is done pour over the pasta in a colander. Pour the peas over the pasta. Then pour pasta and peas back into the pasta pan.
Add the mozzarella and let the pan stand on the after heat about on the stove 1 min while you stir slowly. This way the cheese melts on the pasta.
Add tomatoes and bell pepper. Top with sunflower seeds.
Voila. Dinner is served!
